Leveling up
Choose the next level, answer only its new decisions, and return to anything still owed later.
- Crossing an XP threshold offers level-up; it never changes the level automatically. You may also open level-up from the menu.
- Levels are taken one at a time. Multiclassing is not supported.
- The dialog asks for choices introduced by that level: subclass, feature picks, hit points, a feat or Ability Score Improvement, and spells where applicable.
- Hit points can use the fixed average, a roll made in the dialog, or a table roll you type in.
- The Ability Score Improvement or feat decision cannot be skipped. Other owed choices can be answered later from Choices in the menu.
- New resources, spell slots and fixed class features come from the class data and do not need a separate confirmation.
