Manual · DM
Create a party
Make a party, choose who manages it, invite players or another DM, and seat characters.
- Run a table on the start screen, or New party in the switcher. Three fields: the party's name, your name at the table, DM or player. It needs an account.
- A new party lands on Members with two links minted: Invite players (one link the whole table can use) and Invite a DM (works once). Each is shown once and never stored, so copy it. A link lasts seven days, and the person joining needs an account.
- No character needed to DM. To play at your own table too, seat a character from Members like anyone else.
- Who manages: the DM, or the owner while the party has none. Managing means house rules, homebrew, the hue and the Run tabs. The owner can always invite.
- Members. Seat here on any of your characters not seated elsewhere. The owner's ⋯ on another member's row holds Make owner and Remove; both need a second tap.
- The party page,
/party/<id>, opens for every member. A manager gets Dashboard, Adventures, Item counter, DM screen, Members, House rules, Homebrew, Map and Handouts. A player gets Members, House rules, Homebrew and Map, plus Handouts and DM screen once something is published or revealed. The rest show greyed, for the DM. - The first tab is your own seated character, on every party page, when you have one.
- The menu holds Library (import and manage files with no character open), Compendium (
/on every party screen) and this manual. Delete party asks you to typeDELETE. - The party wears its own hue, picked by a manager and taken from the ring so two of your tables never match. A seated character keeps its own.
