Join a party
Join by link, seat a character, and move between your sheet and the party view.
- An invite is a link. It names who invited you and as what. A player invite asks your name at this table and which character to bring; you can also make one, or seat one later. Nothing is written until Join. You need an account.
- Table view or open book. Table view, the default, shows the party your portrait, class, level, hit points, AC, conditions and what is in hand. Open book shows them the whole sheet. The DM sees the whole sheet either way, except your notes. Nobody but you can change your character.
- A strip above your sheet (the Party tab on a phone) shows the other seated characters with their HP bars and conditions. Its name opens the party's pages. DM screen, Handouts · N and Live encounter sit beside it only while they apply.
- During a fight the strip shows the round, Your turn when it is, and one chip per revealed combatant. A creature the DM has only marked as seen reads Unknown creature. Map opens the DM's map; your own token moves on your turn, with the distance read against your speed.
- Offers, never edits. Loot, a sale and XP arrive as a card on your sheet with Buy or Take and Decline. Nothing lands until you accept.
- The table's house rules replace yours while you are seated. Your own editor is locked and names who set them. Leaving hands your rules back.
- Shared homebrew lands in your Library tagged with the party's name and kept in step with the DM's copy, so you cannot rename or delete it while it is shared. Once the share ends, the copy is yours.
- Leave with this character unseats it. The character itself is untouched.
