Import an existing character

Open the one import dialog, review what the file contains, and choose what to add.

• Select Import a file… on the start screen or in the Library. You do not choose a format first.
• A Sheetling backup creates one character under a fresh id. Its portrait is included in the file.
• A supported Fight Club 5 backup can contain characters and a compendium. Each appears as a separate row in the preview.
• Game Master 5 campaign files need an account and a party you manage because adventures and encounters live with a party.
• 5eTools JSON becomes content in your Library, not a character on the roster.
• Nothing is written while the preview is open. Select the rows and destinations you want, then save.
