Spells and inventory
Prepare and cast spells, equip or attune items, use consumables, and keep track of money and weight.
Spells
- The Spells card states whether the character knows or prepares spells and shows the current limit.
- A ritual has its own button. It spends no slot, cannot be upcast and logs the ten-minute casting time.
- A spell that can be upcast shows the available slot levels and updates the damage or healing preview for the selected level.
- A cantrip card names the character levels at which its dice change.
- A granted spell with limited free uses has its own counter. When those uses are gone, the cast button may offer a spell slot instead.
Inventory
- An item's mechanics count only while it is equipped, or attuned when the item requires attunement.
- Going over the attunement limit shows a warning. It does not block the change.
- Use on a consumable asks first, applies any declared healing, temp HP or condition, and can be undone.
- Carrying weight is shown but not enforced. Pay a price spends from the purse and makes change.
