Manual · Content and homebrew
Library and rules versions
Keep source files private, choose which characters can use them, and share a copy with a party when needed.
- The Library holds imported compendiums, adventure files and homebrew for one account. Local mode has a separate Library in that browser.
- A content source can be offered to 2014 characters, 2024 characters or both. The format's own evidence sets the initial choice; you can change it in the import preview.
- Each character selects which Library sources it uses. An entry from an unticked source does not appear in that character's creation or level-up choices.
- Deleting a source does not rewrite a character. A held choice becomes missing content until the same source is restored.
- A source shared with a party appears as a read-only synced copy for its members. It is not published outside that party.
- Imported and homebrew creatures can be opened and edited from the Library. The edited version remains part of that private source.
The two shipped SRD packs remain separate from Library files. They carry the same rules-neutral ids, so changing a character's rules year selects the matching pack rather than rewriting every choice.
